Interview integrity for heads of talent and hiring teams
Catch cheating before it costs you a hire.
Every interview is proctored. Tab switching, a second face on camera and pasted answers are flagged and marked on the recording, so your team can see exactly what happened and decide for themselves.
Proctoring is included on every plan.
How a flag is raised
A signal from the camera, browser or answer field is timestamped and written to the report as an amber marker. It never changes the score and never rejects anyone.
The stakes
Fake candidates are no longer rare.
candidate profiles worldwide will be fake by 2028, Gartner predicts.

What is checked, and when
Before, during and after every interview.
GenieHire only claims checks that have shipped. Anything on the roadmap is marked as such.
- Notice and consent: candidates agree to recording and AI scoring
- Camera and microphone check
- Same questions and time limits for every candidate
- Tab switching and window focus loss
- A second face on camera
- Pasted answers in typed, MCQ and coding rounds
- Long silences and off-camera time, marked on the timeline
- Flags shown on the shortlist and on each report
- Recording, transcript and timestamp for every flag
- Reviewer notes; flags confirmed or dismissed by a person
- Nothing rejected automatically
How flags appear
A flag is a timestamp, not a verdict.
Each flag names what was detected and when. It sits on the recording timeline in amber, next to the transcript, so a reviewer can jump to the moment and judge it in context. Flags never change a candidate's score and never reject anyone.
- Amber marker on the timeline, with type and timestamp
- Flag count on the shortlist, so reviewers see it before opening
- Reviewer notes and a resolved / dismissed state per flag
How teams review flags
Each row shows No flags or the number of flags, so reviewers know before opening.
Click the amber marker to watch the ten seconds around the flag with the transcript alongside.
A reviewer records a decision and a note. Dismissed flags stay visible in the audit trail.
Advance or Not a fit is always a human action. Scores and flags inform it; they never make it.
